I didnt go with the guys when they had it on the water so dont know the speed but i do know they were only getting about 5500 rpms out of it when they went for the ride. So when they got back to the shop they put a lower pitch on it and now it should be good to go.

If you've outfitted it with max certified hp, it should hit low to mid 40s on the water propped and trimmed correctly. IIRC, our 16 Sportsman with a carbed 90hp Merc would do 42-ish at WOT and I cruised at 4200 - 4400rpm and that was 30 - 32mph depending on load and water conditions.
